In the SVN video it is said that one of the uses of SNV is to synchronize the project when testers in the team make changes to the code in his workspace. My question: Is a tester allowed to change code? If yes then could you please give a scenario? If no then what what does the statement in the video mean?

By changing code we mean changing selenium script code
If application changes then we have to change the scripts
