I am getting this issue after installing java 1.8, also find the screenshot for the same
Exception in thread "main" java.lang.UnsupportedClassVersionError: web driver/HelloWorld has been compiled by a more recent version of the Java Runtime (class file version 56.0), this version of the Java Runtime only recognizes class file versions up to 52.0

As i can see the screenshot, your project is configured to use JavaSE 12. To change this go to properties of project and the go to java build path, here highlight the javase and click on edit. now on the next window, provide the path of jdk 8. This way you would be able to use the older version of java.
