I am able to read/write data using Xls_reader class file with excel 2007 version. But with excel 2010, I could only read but not write(getting null pointer exception). Has anyone faced this issue? If so, what approach was taken ro resolve?

there is no difference between excel version 2007 or 2010. both use .xlsx files.
