Debug perspective- checkpoint not working in eclipse | Selenium Forum

Not able to debug programs using Checkpoints in eclipse.

When F6 or F8 is clicked, not able to run the program stepwise or as whole and Debug perspective is seen empty.

Is there any issue with eclipse? I am using eclipse-mars currently.

Which eclipse version shall I download?

If I uninstall and download it again...is there any way to save all earlier projects in workspace or get a back up and restore it?
