On trying to launch facebook login page using firefox driver and login, either the gin page will be blank or the page loads partially, which results the user login failure, however, observed no issues with Chrome driver.
Firefox -40.0.3
Selenium - 2.47.1
Eclipse -MARS
OS- Windows 7

blank i understand what does partially mean? and
try firefox 30 instead of firefox 40 and
upload a screen shot of partially loaded page.

Please refer the attached screen captures for more info on partially loaded pages.
It would be really helpful, if could share to procedure to downgrade firefox Rel 40.x to Rls 30.x

xpath should work in that page. css didn't load.
and just google "firefox 30" and install that.
