Object reference not set to an instance

Hi
We have been getting a problem only some times with some of the MS tests, the Jenkins error messages are saying the "object reference not set to an instance of object" , the same tests are passing maximum times.
Could you give me the possible reasons for execution timeout and solution please!!!
Please note: we are using MS Tests and running them every night using Jenkins
