it runs on port 8080
May be some other app is blocking that port

This is because Jenkins runs on port number 8080
There is some application on your PC which is already running on Port 8080
You need to close that application. Best is restart your pc. Dont let any processes start and then start Jenkins
We have seen this issue in past - only way to resolve is to clear port
