Error while obtaining ui hierarchy using ui automator

Hi Ashish,

Getting following error while taking screenshot using uiautomator :

Error while obtaining UI hierarchy XML file: com.android.ddmlib.SyncException: Remote object doesn't exist! Error while obtaining UI hierarchy XML file: com.android.ddmlib.SyncException: Remote object doesn't exist!

Please provide solution for the same.

Seems like you are using the old version of uiautomator, please use uiautomator2 which is present inside Appium.

just start the Appium server, click on download button at top and fill the desired caps for your app under test and start server , it will automatically show uiautomator2 screen
